Your decision to purchase package protection must be made at time of checkout.
If you decide against it, simply deselect the option at checkout. Once an order is placed, package protection cannot be added or removed. Our swift order processing means we can't alter protection selections once an order is in motion.
If you opt out of package protection, Doc's Diesel assumes no liability for any loss or damage during transit.
Package protection covers any damage or loss caused by carriers like FedEx, USPS, or UPS, starting at 1% of your total order value.
The cost breakdown is as follows:
- $1.95 for orders up to $200
- $2.95 for orders $201-$300
- $3.95 for orders $301-$400
- $4.95 for orders $401-$500
- $5.95 for orders $501-$600
- $6.95 for orders $601-$700
- $7.95 for orders $701-$800
- $8.95 for orders $801-$900
- $9.95 for orders $901-$1,000
Package protection ensures we'll refund or replace items damaged or lost in transit. To initiate a claim, contact us via call, text, email, or chat, providing your order number.
Regardless of your chosen shipping method, we recommend package protection. However, our "Fast Free Shipping On Orders $99 & Up" doesn't include it.
Package protection doesn't cover theft or shipping delays. If a package is marked as delivered but missing, you'll need to file a claim directly with the carrier.
Additionally, package protection excludes orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by customers. If a package is returned to us, the purchaser must cover the reshipping costs.
